JOURNALISM IN A PANDEMIC: ADAPTING AND EVOLVING The Opening Ceremony will be officiated by Prof. Dr. Massilla Hamzah, Dean of Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam. __________ Do you know that since March 2020, The Communications and Multimedia Ministry (KKMM) has issued 370 notifications on fake news related to the Covid-19 pandemic? JOURNALISM IN A PANDEMIC: ADAPTING AND EVOLVING The impact of the COVID19 pandemic, experience, and policy responses have dominated airwaves globally, throughout 2020. We are bringing in the representative from the neighbouring country, Andari Karina Anom from Binus University in Indonesia to share her perspective on how journalism is like in Indonesia, the struggles, and the future of journalism there. By joining this session, you will get to view journalism practice in other ASEAN countries during the pandemic and how they tackle the situation. Miss Andari Karina Anom S.Sos, M.A, is the Head of Communication Program at Binus University in Indonesia. She is previously well-known as a journalist with TEMPO Magazine for 16 years and has published lots of remarkable political and investigative stories.
